In Funds > View Balance, you can see the amount of funds you have in your Zerys account, broken down into "funds held for orders in progress" and "funds available for new orders." This information is also on the Dashboard page. Funds held for orders in progress: Our system reserves funds to cover the maximum potential cost of all jobs that are in progress (ordered, on the job board, being written, or pending your review). This is calculated as the max word count multiplied by the maximum pay rate offered. You will only actually pay when you approve content. If the job gets canceled, the funds will become available. If you approve and the actual cost is less than the maximum potential cost, the unused funds will become available again for new orders. Funds available for new orders: All funds that you have deposited, but are not held for orders in progress, can be used for new orders. Want to place an order but don't have enough funds available? You can deposit more funds, of course. Also, if you have jobs in Pending Review, you can review those documents — and if you have to decline a writer or if you purchase the content for less than the "held funds" amount, you will have more money available for new orders.
